Accommodation
The Show Committee has managed to negotiate some ‘cat friendly‘ accommodation at two convenient locations. Neither holiday unit style businesses usually allow pets in the room, however we have managed to convince them that cat show people are responsible and will respect this concession.
Both the Angelo Lodge and Glenvale Lodge have 1, 2 and 3 (Glenvale only) bedroom self contained apartments. There is a large bathroom in the apartment with a door that provides ideal facilities to keep your cats. Angelo Lodge also has a small laundry area. It has been agreed that cats will NOT be allowed to roam freely in the rooms but will be contained in the bathroom area.
These apartments are in the River precinct of Rivervale, 10 mins from the airport and the Burswood Casino. The Show venue is 15 mins away directly down the Tonkin Hwy.
Transport
We have arranged a great way for exhibitors to get themselves and their cats to and from the show. There will be a mini bus available to transport exhibitors to and from the show venue. Exhibitors cats will then be transported by Jet Pets in a special pet transport air conditioned van each morning and afternoon of the Show. The mini bus will also take exhibitors to and from the show dinner. There will be a $50.00 fee per exhibitor for the two days for this service. Each apartment has a car bay for those who prefer to hire their own vehicle.
Bookings
A $100 bond plus one nights accommodation fee is required to secure a booking. The original $100 bond is non refundable if the booking is cancelled within 14 days of the Show. A further $100 bond is required when you book in. The bond will be refunded once the room is inspected prior to the apartment being vacated.
To book accommodation please contact Carole Galli 08 9455 1481 or via email on carole@roellencattery.com.au
To secure a booking a cheque must be sent to Carole Galli, 257 Acourt Road, Canning Vale 6155 made out to Angelo Lodge or Glenvale Lodge for $100 plus the cost of one nights accommodation. The signed Accommodation Agreement must accompany your booking.

Travelling to Perth by Plane
Each airport has a different rule for how many cats you can travel with, if they can go as baggage at check, handling fees etc. In Perth cats must be dropped off at Australian Air Express and there is a fee of $50 handling per cat with a maximum of two cats per person. COAWA members who show their membership card are able to fly with three cats at $50 per cat. AAE will extend this to cats travelling to Perth and then from Perth back home. All you need is a special voucher that we will provide to interstate travelers.
If you would like help to make the travel arrangements for your cats or to send cats unaccompanied we recommend our sponsors JetPets. http://www.jetpets.com.au/
Rosette Sponsorship
There will be over eight hundred placing awarded a the show for the top ten entire cats, kittens and desexed cats over three groups plus awards for the top ten companion cats.
We would like to invite your sponsorship of place rosettes for the show. They will be quality, fancy style rosettes with sponsored by “your name” printed on the tail.
Please click here to view the rosette sponsorship form.
Volunteers
We are calling for registrations of interest from Exhibitors & family members who could assist with the smooth running of this first time ever event in Western Australia for the CCCA. With an enlistment of willing volunteers available duties can be shared giving each person a chance to be involved but also allowing time to watch our cats and enjoy the Show.
If you can help please click here to view our volunteer registration form.
